7: The twelve were sent to preach the kingdom of heaven. It is correct to say that the Jews were, as prophesied, offered the Truth of the coming of the kingdom first. However, we must not get in our minds that their rejection somehow prevented God Almighty from doing what was best,, only to settle for second best. Jesus already knew what the response of the Jews would be. He already his Father’s overarching plan, and that the best would still take place. The gospel of Christ would not fail to be the greatest glory to God this world has ever known.
