Matthew 12:11
Jesus knew not only the laws of the Old Testament, but also the traditions of the Jewish leaders. As he did when he went to the temple at age twelve, he asked questions that they had a hard time answering. The Jewish leaders themselves would put their animals over the Sabbath. They felt it was justified.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the opportunity to praise You and thank You. Though we often forget it, You have given us our body to use to worship You.
