Matthew 13:19
When people hear God’s Word, but fail to understand it, the enemy has an easy job. This planting of Truth is not even a planting. It is just a superficial hearing. However, many, many people will fall through the cracks because they think they already know about Jesus. They remember hearing about him. They remember that it did not make any difference to them. They assume that there was nothing to it. Assumptions can be eternally dangerous.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love and faithfulness. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. Thank You for not giving up on us. You could certainly do so if You wished and be justified. But, Your goodness is too wonderful to allow it. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray and praise You, Amen.
