   By and large the Jews had missed the message of the prophets. They failed to accept their words. And the law of Moses, though they claimed to accept it, was added to and twisted round by them. So, that which Jerusalem had become compared to what it was possible for it to be were two different things.
   A this point, some may digress into a discussion of free will versus Divine Sovereignty. However, this verse is about a city, a nation, not an individual person. From it we may not directly draw truths about individual lives.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for life! You have given us so much and we are so thankful! Please help us to see our blessings as You see them. Give us Your eyes to see our situation and lead us with Your feet. We need You, we must depend upon You. You are worthy of our life of service to You, Almighty God. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray and praise You, Amen.

Prayer Requests: Pray for a girl with health issues. Pray for a man with spiritual issues in his life.
