Mark 8:3
It is so precious to read this verse and hear the thinking of the Lord Jesus. He was concerned for the people. This is still the heart of ministry, the people. We must have a desire to meet the needs of the needy. But, keep in mind he had already met spiritual needs that day. He wasn’t just looking to give them food. He would have sent those living close by home to eat in their own homes. this is the order of things, our goal is to meet spiritual, not physical needs. The physical comes afterward, as a result of the spiritual.

Heavenly Father, you are truly amazing! You love each and every one of us just the same. Thank you for your care for us. May we never fail to serve you wholeheartedly. You deserve our best. You are the reason for our very being and we owe it all to you. May your name be praised for evermore! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray and praise you, Amen.
