Luke 6:48 “He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.”
One of the often overlooked blessings of following Christ is psychological stability. Building on the Rock does not only stabilize your spiritual well-being. That spiritual stability spills over into every area of life. It leads to a normalizing trend in society. Though this in itself is not a reason to be a Christian, it serves as an evidence that a relationship with Christ makes a difference in an individual’s life.
Heavenly Father, thank You for keeping us from the craziness of sin. Your Word shows us the path for our feet. We can walk without stumbling. Christ is our great foundation that keeps us safe among the pitfalls of life. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray and praise You, Amen.
