Luke 8:43 “Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any,”
This woman had exhausted all human help. Evidently she was a person of some financial substance because doctors were not cheap. It is not completely clear what her malady was. Luke, being very exact, would surely have offered details if possible. But, propriety may have prevented him from being more specific in this case.
Regardless of the exact nature of the problem, this would have caused the woman great difficulty as she would remain unclean all the time. Much like a leper, the crowd would have recoiled from her if they had known of her problem before her healing.
Heavenly Father, thank You for helping us. Without Your deliverance we are all slaves to sin. Thank You so much for Your mercy and grace! We are not good, but You are good. I love You! In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray and praise You, Amen.
