There are those who, of course, do not believe the truth about Christ, and yet presume to teach on the Bible anyway. Some, as a result, say that Jesus got his early message from John the Baptist, and then built it from there. Well, this is one of those arguments built upon itself. John got his message from Jesus, not the other way around. But, because this connection was necessary and proper, unbelievers have used it as an excuse for their assertions.
