Mark 1:12

Mark 1:12
As we read this verse it is important to understand what is not being said. The Spirit leads, or sends, Jesus into the wilderness. The idea expressed in the Greek here does not require that we interpret this to say that Jesus was forced in to the wilderness. Christ was not pushed or pulled by the hands of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit of God worked in the Son of God to bring Him to the place that was will of God the Father.
