Matthew 21:3

Matthew 21:3
Some might think that the owner of the animals that were procured in this fashion was spoken to by Christ before this time. This is not at all likely. Any Jewish person who believed that Jesus might indeed be the long expected Messiah would have gladly and quickly given these animals to the disciples. The Jews, though it seems remarkable to us, were not unaware of the prophecies of Scripture. They knew that Jesus, if he were the Messiah, might want a donkey at some point. Thus, this is the likely cause for the owner of the animals to send them so quickly and willingly.

May we always follow Your way. Thank You, Father, for Christ, Whom we may follow each day of our lives on our way to You! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray and praise You, Amen.
