1 Corinthians 5:1 “For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”
Revelation 21:3-5 “And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.”
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the miracle of life. Before I could ever be upset that you have taken our unborn baby home to be with You, I would have to thank You for so much first. I would have to thank You for my life, and how You have saved me and blessed me. I would have to thank You for my sweet, beautiful bride, MaryBeth who is the joy of my heart. I would have to thank You for my precious William John Christopher, who is the light of my days. I would have to thank You for Peter Joseph Sterling, who is the inspiration of my spirit. So, I will thank You for all of these, and thank You for taking our little baby to Your glorious presence. For though it would not have been my choice, from One who cares so much for me I can only see it as what is best. Thank You, Father, for Your Son, the Savior of my soul, and the One who has carried my child to You. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray and praise You, Amen.
