Matthew 12:6
If the Pharisees had believed at all what Jesus says in this verse they would never have questioned him. Jesus knows this, but says it anyway. Jesus did not hide the fact that he was the Messiah. If he was the One who made the Sabbath holy, he could regulate it as he saw fit.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for all that You do in our lives each day. We take so much for granted. Though we miss it when it is gone we forget the good health that You bless us with. We are so quick to want blessings, but slow to give You all the thanks for them. Father, You are patient with us, and that is a blessing too! Thank You for the blessing of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray and praise You, Amen.
