Luke 6:49 “But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”
To hear and do nothing is a great danger. We see here that Jesus says the fall of this house was complete. Why? What is He emphasizing? He is telling us that the danger if hearing and not doing is a serious one. In the long run it will go easier for those who never heard and continued in sinful ignorance, than for those who in their sin ignored the message clearly explained to them.
Heavenly Father, may we never fail to praise You for the heavenly gift! You have shared with us the most amazing news and our very soul longs to hear it again and again. May our mouths be ever full of Your praise! In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray and praise You, Amen.
